This afternoon I was trying to watch a movie, so I closed the blinds on all of the windows in my living room in an attempt to make it dark. Unfortunately the light just continued to shine through the cracks, no matter how hard I tried to block it. So after my failed attempt to achieve total darkness, I gave up and began watching the movie in only partial darkness.

Today I was blinded by light. As I walked down the sidewalk towards my car I looked out into the parking lot at my apartments, the sun was straight overhead making it very bright. Then all of the sudden a car drives by, I happened to be looking at it in the right spot for the sun to glare off of it and hit me right in the eyes. After I recovered from the unpleasant momentary blindness I decided today was probably a good day to wear sunglasses.
